More about me
Let's start the conversation
I've been a journalist, assistant news editor and political editor for the Derby Telegraph, where I interviewed the likes of Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, Michael Portillo and Robert Kilroy-Silk. Before that, I was commercial manager for one of the largest printing groups in Europe. And, since 2006, I've worked in PR, with a two-year stint as marketing director for one of my clients in between.
I've also trekked in Nepal, smoked a Cohiba in Havana, sea-fished in Mozambique, played poker in Vegas, ridden a camel in Egypt, watched sumo in Tokyo, received a trophy in India, walked Hadrian's Wall, driven a 50-tonne dump truck in South Africa and been lead singer in a rock band.
